30 is Right Around the Corner!!!!

I can't believe it but in 13 days I will be 30 years old! When I was young I use to think that 30 was soooooo old. Now that it is creeping up on me that thought has been demolished. I'm just getting started!!! I have so much life ahead of me. I'm just enjoying the ride!!

My husband and I are planning a little get together for my birthday. Whoop Whoop! I told him all I want is crab legs and a get together with some of our friends. So far the plans are in full effect.

30 is going to be a great year I'm just embracing it. The best is truly yet to come!!!!

I'm Back!!!

It has been forever since I have blogged. Lots of things have happened since then. My baby Dre turned 1 year old and is getting so big. I love him so. He has such a fun personality. Seth is moving along in school. He is still on track to graduate in 4 years and then grad school. Just 4 more years total and he will be done. With Seth in school it has been very challenging at times trying to balance everything but I am learning how to be positive and enjoy our process. I know one day we will look back at all of this and just and laugh and reflect on how we made it threw. God is good and he continues to take care of us. I have so much to talk about I just can't write it all in one blog, so I will write another entry later on. Tell then smooches!!!!!

Birthday Time!

Well today is my 29th Birthday! Wooohooo! This is my last year in my twenties and I feel great. This year I got to celebrate with my sista. Our birthdays are only a week apart and occasionally we party together! Fun times.

I never knew how much I loved to here the word Happy Birthday until today! I was checking my facebook page and was just overwhelmed by all the birthday wishes. It is awesome to know that someone else is thinking of you and celebrating the day you were born. I thank God for 29 beautiful years and more to come. I have a awesome father in Heaven who loves me unconditionally, a wonderful husband, son, family, and fabulous friends. I am truly blessed.

It’s Teething Time

Well it was all drama at my house last night. Dre is getting his two front teeth in and the poor guy is so uncomfortable. I can't imagine how he feels. He woke up six times last night. So exhausting. I had such a hard time getting up for work this morning, but I made it. I can't wait till this passes and my little man is back to his joyful self. All apart of the joys of motherhood. Living Life!

New things Caleb is doing.

1. Well he is trying to take steps... so fearless....Gets this from daddy.


2. Just learned how to clap his hands. I've been trying to teach him to praise Jesus at home. I think it's workin!


3. Throw the remote, my phone, Bubba toys, or anything he can get across the room.


4. Says Da Da....Seth swears he is saying daddy. I personally think it is just the D sound. LOL! (Working on mama secretly)


5. Loves to stand in his crib and scream Yeahhhhhhh! Totally gets this from his mama.


6. Loves to take Bubba's toys and smack him in the face. Thank God our dog is so kind and gentle. Working on gentle touches.


7. Loves to open and close doors.


8. Loves to roll around on the floor with a pillow or blanket. He makes me smile!

Today is July 20th and this is only the second time I have written on my blog....OMG! I have to step it up.

Anyway tomorrow is my 3 year anniversary. Whooo hoooo! I am so excited! I can envision seafood in my future. LOL! I truly have enjoyed being married to the love of my life. Although it gets challenging sometimes (especially when you have kids I'm just being real) it is a wonderful adventure and it just gets better and better. I love you Seth Daniel Pate!

Okay.....so I'm actually starting a blog. This is so funny because I am not really into writing but I wanted to give this a try. I guess this will be my way of journaling. The whole profile Internet things is a little more interesting to me than a notebook and a pen I guess. I am not sure how this is really going to pan out though. I have a big habit of starting things but not finishing them. I am mainly doing this for fun so we will just have to see. Stay tuned for the next post.........
